An Off Day

Almost every day on this trip has been a memorable one, mostly for good things.  Today, however, was just an off day.  It happens.  Crowds, extended delays due to a rock slide and bumper-to-bumper traffic are never fun.  Neither is having trouble finding a place to camp. What was supposed to be one of the most beautiful drives of the trip turned out to be a disappointment.  Not to worry, however.  As Scarlett famously said, “Tomorrow is another day.”

    1. LV, What's amazing to me is how few of these days we've had. Yesterday is now forgotten, and we had a great time today. What a difference a day makes! Sarah

    1. A, Yes, we did drive Highway 1, which is incredibly beautiful. Tim was driving and trying to negotiate the twists and turns and steep dropoffs in the midst of constant traffic and road construction. I'd try to pick a slow time to make this drive so you can really enjoy the views. Sarah
